How do you know if the yuppies are coming?
According to the Daily Telegraph’s London property Guide (and they should know) one of the first indicators is not a Starbucks replacing your old style caff, but the arrival of the ‘organic food shop’. Evidence for this comes from Property Design consultant Alex Michelin “they certainly want to live near a farmers market or an organic deli. It’s a major influencing factor”. So now we know - as soon as you see any carrotts with dirt on them - burn the shop down, and your neighbourhood should be safe for another year!
